Article Publication Charge

All articles published in INSPIRE: Journal of Innovation in Social Learning are fully open access and are freely accessible online to readers worldwide immediately after publication. INSPIRE is committed to facilitating the broad dissemination of scholarly research and ensuring that published articles are accessible to the academic community and the wider public.

Submission and Peer-Review Policy

INSPIRE does not charge any submission fee or fee for manuscripts during the peer-review process. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only after a manuscript has received a formal acceptance decision from the editorial team.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

For manuscripts that have been accepted for publication, the applicable APC is:

  • IDR 150,000 for authors in Indonesia;
  • USD 10 for authors residing outside Indonesia.

Payment instructions will be communicated to the corresponding author following formal acceptance. The article will proceed to the publication stage after the required APC has been paid in full.

Optional Fast-Track Review Service

INSPIRE provides an optional Fast-Track Review Service for authors who require an expedited peer-review process. This service is intended to shorten the review timeline while maintaining the journal’s standards for independent and rigorous academic evaluation.

The Fast-Track Review Service is subject to the following conditions:

  • Estimated peer-review period: approximately 2 weeks;
  • Available only to manuscripts that have successfully passed the journal’s initial editorial screening;
  • Fast-Track Service Fee:
    • IDR 300,000 for authors in Indonesia;
    • USD 15 for authors outside Indonesia.

Payment for the Fast-Track Service does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Manuscripts using this service remain subject to the same academic, ethical, and editorial requirements as manuscripts processed through the regular review procedure.

Payment Policy

The following payment conditions apply:

  • The APC must be paid within 14 days of the formal acceptance notification;
  • An article will not be scheduled for publication until the required payment has been received in full;
  • Authors are encouraged to confirm the availability of publication funding before submitting their manuscripts; and
  • All payments are non-refundable, including payments made for the Fast-Track Review Service.
