Archiving Policy

Equator Science Journal (ESJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content. As part of its commitment to digital preservation, the journal implements archiving practices to safeguard published articles and ensure their continued availability for readers, authors, and researchers.

To preserve its publications, ESJ utilizes the following digital preservation systems:

1. Internet Archive
All published content may be archived in the Internet Archive to help ensure that journal articles remain accessible over time, including in the event of website changes, migration, or temporary downtime.
Access: https://archive.org/

2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
ESJ participates in the PKP Preservation Network, a decentralized and secure digital preservation service for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). This service supports the long-term preservation of published content and provides an additional safeguard in case the journal’s primary website becomes unavailable.
